Job Description

Expert Consultancy, on behalf of a market-leading company in galvanized hardware, is hiring a high-performing Hardware Sales Representative to drive sales growth and deliver tailored hardware solutions. The role involves expanding market share, building client relationships, and representing the brand across Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Tanga, and Singida regions. The company is known for innovation, reliability, and delivering value through cutting-edge hardware solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field
  • Customer service training (advantageous)
  • 2-3 years of experience as a field sales representative selling hardware products (B2B and B2C)
  • Comfortable with phone-based communication
  • Competitive attitude and high confidence
  • Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for hardware products
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis and product demonstrations
  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth sales execution and post-sale support
  • Close new deals at a high rate
  • Build relationships with existing customers
  • Cultivate new leads within the sales territory
  • Travel throughout Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Manyara, and Singida regions to visit customers on a recurring basis
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
  • Educate customers on how products can benefit them financially and in other relevant ways
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions and align sales strategies accordingly
