The role requires proficiency in filing TRA returns and knowledge of general accounting practices.

Requirements

• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Must hold or be currently pursuing CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification
• Proficient in filing TRA returns and knowledgeable in general accounting practices
• Must reside in Dar es Salaam
• Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist in filing TRA (Tanzania Revenue Authority) returns accurately and on time
• Perform general accounting practices, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and financial record-keeping
• Support the finance team in daily accounting operations
• Assist with bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
• Learn and apply new accounting principles and software as required
