Job Description

Kinondoni Municipal Council is recruiting 11 Driver Grade II positions. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of employees and documents, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, and performing minor repairs. Requirements

• Form IV Certificate
• Class E or C driving license
• At least one year of driving experience without causing accidents
• Must have attended basic training in Technical Skills (VETA) or another government-recognized institution

Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure its safety condition
• Transport employees to various locations for work-related trips
• Perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Collect and distribute various documents
• Record and maintain details of all trips in the logbook
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times
• Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
