Our confidential client, a reputable and rapidly growing company in the logistics and petroleum sector, is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Manager. This strategic HR leader will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and policies, overseeing recruitment and talent development, managing performance and training programs, and ensuring full compliance with labor laws. The role focuses on fostering a strong culture of employee engagement, retention, and well-being.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM), Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position
- Proven leadership, communication, and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) expertise
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws
- Postgraduate HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with organizational goals
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives
- Manage performance management systems and employee training programs to enhance capability
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant Tanzanian labor laws and internal company policies
- Foster a strong culture of employee engagement, retention, and well-being across the organization
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and wellness initiatives to attract and retain top talent
- Lead organizational change management processes and workforce planning efforts
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to management and employees
