Information Communication Technology Officer II – Programming

Job Description

IFM is looking for an ICT Officer II with a specialization in Programming. This position will be crucial in developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications and systems to support the Institute's various operational and educational needs, including data processing and network management.

Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent computer qualifications from recognized Institutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data collection, processing, and storage according to IT policies and procedures
• Safeguard all ICT equipment, software, and related materials
• Provide IT education to users and ensure proper use of computer laboratories
• Manage internet, website, and local network facilities
• Perform maintenance on ICT equipment
• Track payments of bills/invoices from service providers
• Design a secure system for ICT equipment procurement
• Ensure laboratories are available and clean for users
• Monitor adequate power supply for ICT equipment and related functions
• Participate in teaching ICT-related subjects when required by the academic department
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
