Job Description

Hesu Investments, a TRA-licensed Inland Container Depot (ICD) & Container Freight Station (CFS) operator, is seeking 5 dedicated Riders. This crucial role involves facilitating the movement of goods, spare parts, and essential operational documents across CFS, ICD, and transportation facilities. The Rider will deliver critical materials, assist in loading/unloading, ensure timely communication and transport, and safely operate any machinery or vehicles handled during transportation.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license
• Demonstrated expertise in riding motorcycles safely in urban and off-road conditions
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via radio or mobile communication devices
• Proficient in writing concise and accurate reports
• Ability to identify and respond to potential security threats or risks during transit
• Skilled in observing surroundings and maintaining vigilance throughout the journey
• Quick decision-making ability in emergencies, including breakdowns or security incidents
• Ability to coordinate and report promptly to the control center for immediate assistance
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of long hours of riding and dealing with potential security challenges
• Polite, disciplined, and professional demeanor in interactions with clients, drivers, and authorities
• Strong ethical behavior and integrity to ensure accountability and trustworthiness
• At least two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in security escort services
• Familiarity with container handling operations and escort procedures is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of the routes from the Port to HESU, including alternate routes in case of diversions or emergencies
• Proficiency in handling radios, and other escort-related equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading goods as required
• Ensure timely communication and transport between various logistics points
• Ensure the safe operation of any machinery parts or vehicles handled during transportation
• Maintain clear and effective communication via radio or mobile devices with the control center
• Write concise and accurate reports regarding deliveries and incidents
• Identify and respond to potential security threats or risks during transit
• Coordinate and report promptly to the control center for immediate assistance in emergencies
