Credit Analyst

Job Description

Mogo Credit Tanzania seeks a Credit Analyst to evaluate loan applications, ensure compliance with credit rules, analyze applicant financial status, participate in Credit Committee activities, and support timely loan disbursement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a credit analyst
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
• Fluent in English and Swahili
• Previous experience in Boda-boda and/or car financing is an added advantage
• Good MS Office skills

Responsibilities

• Authenticate documentation for all credit applications and ensure KYC compliance
• Ensure adherence to Company’s Credit Rules & Procedures
• Appraise customer loan applications and make recommendations
• Advise applicants on the status of their applications in a timely manner
• Actively participate in Credit Committee discussions
• Communicate credit rules and procedural updates to sales staff
• Analyze applicant financial status and credit histories to determine loan feasibility
• Collect, process, and securely file credit documentation
• Ensure timely release of approved loan facilities
• Perform additional duties assigned by management
