GPS Team Lead

Job Description

Mogo Credit Tanzania seeks a GPS Team Lead to manage GPS device inventory, lead a team of technicians, schedule installations, and provide operational support for vehicle tracking and valuations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in business, project management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience
• Fluency in Swahili and English
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of technology
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in operations or logistics is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and adapt without prior GPS-specific experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of GPS devices
• Lead, train, and manage technicians to meet performance and quality standards
• Organize and schedule GPS installations at distributor assembly plants and dealer branches
• Guide team in evaluating vehicle value using industry-standard tools and techniques
• Oversee GPS tracker and SIM card installation on cars and motorcycles
• Supervise minor motorcycle repairs and collaborate with repair teams
• Ensure proper functionality of installed tracking systems
