GPS Technician

Job Description

Mogo Credit Tanzania, part of Eleving Group, a leading international fintech company operating in over 15 countries, is seeking a GPS Technician. The role involves installing GPS trackers and SIM cards in vehicles, performing minor motorcycle repairs, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. Requirements

• Diploma in engineering and/or technically related course
• Two years of previous experience
• Fluency in Swahili and English
• Knowledge of Tanzanian car market, including model features and vehicle technical structure
• High sense of responsibility, precision, ability to plan and set priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Driver’s Licence – A, B, C category

Responsibilities

• Install GPS trackers on cars and motorcycles to enable efficient monitoring and tracking for the duration of the loan
• Ensure proper installation and functionality of trackers in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
• Install SIM cards into GPS devices
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on motorcycles to restore operational condition
• Collaborate with repair teams to resolve technical issues and ensure quality repairs
• Maintain accurate records of all installations and repairs performed
