Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) is hiring 4 Hammer Refurbishment Welders. As Tanzania’s leading sugar producer, KSCL offers a dynamic environment for skilled technicians to contribute to the maintenance and efficiency of their sugar mills. This role is essential for supporting the company's annual production of 126,000 tons of sugar.

Requirements

• Certified Welder with relevant certifications (e.g., TIG, MIG, ARC)
• Proven experience in industrial welding, particularly with heavy machinery or components requiring refurbishment (e.g., hammers, crushers)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work for the refurbishment of hammers and other mill components
• Inspect components for wear, cracks, or damage and determine appropriate repair methods
• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting
• Operate various welding equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
