Requirements

• Certified Welder with relevant certifications (e.g., TIG, MIG, ARC)
• Experience in industrial maintenance welding and general mechanical maintenance tasks
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for maintenance and repair
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding and plant maintenance
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks for the repair and maintenance of sugar mill machinery, structures, and piping systems
• Assist skilled technicians and engineers with general plant maintenance activities
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure operational integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to prevent downtime
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies
