Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) is looking for a Human Resources Officer to join their team. This role will contribute to fostering a thriving workforce in Tanzania’s leading sugar production company. The HR Officer will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and employee well-being within a company that supports 8,000 grower farmers and over 200 local businesses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within a large organization or manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Assist in the full recruitment and selection process, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Manage and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
• Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policy
• Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Prepare various HR reports and analyses as required
• Promote a positive work environment and foster employee engagement
