Job Description

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) is seeking 4 Operators for Lime and Flocculent. These positions are essential for the processing operations within KSCL’s sugar mills, ensuring the quality and efficiency of sugar production under the 'Bwana Sukari' brand. Requirements

• Secondary education or vocational training in process operations, chemical handling, or a related field
• Experience in operating industrial processing equipment, preferably in a sugar mill or similar continuous process plant
• Understanding of chemical dosing systems and process control principles
• Knowledge of safety procedures for handling chemicals (lime, flocculent) and operating machinery
• Ability to monitor process parameters and make necessary adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational records

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor lime and flocculent dosing systems to ensure correct chemical concentrations in the sugar refining process
• Ensure continuous and efficient flow of materials according to production schedules
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment to identify and resolve operational issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting of process deviations and machinery malfunctions
• Maintain accurate log sheets and records of operational data, chemical usage, and equipment status
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially concerning chemical handling
• Collaborate with other operators and supervisors to ensure seamless production flow
