Farmlive Tanzania Limited is seeking a Sales and Marketing Business Developer Professional to spearhead the growth of its seeds, agrochemical, and agri-business in the direct-to-consumer market. The role requires a passion for sustainable agriculture and a deep understanding of consumer trends.

Requirements

• Self-determination and contextual mindset
• Proven work experience in agribusiness/seeds business, agrochemicals, and agro-processed products as a sales and marketing professional
• 2 to 5 years of experience in agri-entrepreneurship with strong performance and achievements
• Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing
• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel)
• Diploma, BSc, or MSc in Agronomy, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics and Business Development, Agri-entrepreneurship, or Technology
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of seeds, agrochemical, and agri-business in the direct-to-consumer market
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with business goals
• Identify and analyze consumer trends to create targeted marketing plans
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product offerings and promotions
• Prepare and present sales and performance reports
• Oversee marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and sales
• Leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities
