Security / Fraud and Investigations Officer

Job Description

Mogo Credit Tanzania seeks a Security / Fraud and Investigations Officer to conduct investigations, manage complaints, secure evidence, and support fraud prevention in line with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and organizational skills
• Previous experience in disciplined forces (police) with fraud and investigation focus is an advantage
• Experience in financial institutions or knowledge of banking and financial fraud is an advantage
• Flexibility to work in the field and travel across regions
• Proactive problem resolution and active information sharing
• Fluent in English and Swahili
• Loyalty and integrity

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with witnesses and subjects of investigations
• Contact government and non-government agencies to obtain records for investigations
• Research backgrounds of individuals and companies related to investigations
• Acquire and analyze relevant local and international databases
• Conduct proactive research related to investigation topics
• Manage the complaints system and ensure appropriate follow-up actions
• Ensure secure storage of information, evidence, and documents
• Prepare concise and timely reports on investigation activities
• Attend court and legal proceedings to provide evidence when required
• Perform any other related duties assigned by management
